WESTERN UNION NORTH AMERICA 1995-present
Director - Agent Automation
Managed a $24 million project to equip 12,325 agents in the United States, United States overseas possessions and Canada with Pentium based PC's on a short deadline of six months. Responsible for the development and installation of software at 18,000 locations. Managed the technical help desk and supply warehouse providing assistance to 23,000 agents domestically and over 50,000 locations worldwide.
Acted as the "expert" source for the Corporation that had recently purchased Western Union.
WESTERN UNION FINANCIAL SERVICES, INTERNATIONAL 1994-1995
Director - North American International Agent Development
Developed and implemented programs designed to build revenues throughout the United States and Canada by further development of the existing agent network and the acquisition of over 900 new ethnic agents generating annualized incremental revenues of over $10 million while combating the effects of strong competition.

District Manager, New York City Region 1985-1988
Directed all sales and operations personnel as Area or District Manager for major revenue centers. Largest of these was New York State with over $55 million in annual revenue. Responsible for profit goals, hiring, firing and union relations.
As Area Manager Pacific, turned around the California/Nevada/Hawaii. Pacific Rim Field
organization significantly reducing expenses while turning negative growth to positive revenue growth winning an award for revenue and personnel development.
Reversed negative growth in the Mexican Money Transfer business in California through a cooperative
advertising program of over 6,000 radio spots on nine stations in California. Volume growth of transactions improved over 60% as compared to the year previous to my arrival. Aggressively marketed against competition forcing three competitive services out of the market.

Thought of, designed, developed and implemented the test of a new service in New York to satisfy the needs
of a major bank and which later was adopted by headquarters and renamed and marketed nation-wide as Quick Collect. This is a service used in the collections industry which generated over $200 million in new revenues in 1996.
Developed a central warehousing system for supplies in New York City which became the prototype for the
National system. The result was cost and time efficiencies.
As Area Manager for New York State, turned negative revenue growth to a consistent 15% or greater growth
within one year of my return while building a new sales team.
As District Manager for Metropolitan New York City turned flat revenue growth to a consistent 25% or greater
growth.
Organized and managed a team of employees to re-audit and collect over $2.5 million in delinquent
receivables from agents in New York, The receivables were incurred by a newly purchased subsidiary and thought to be uncollectible.
WESTERN UNION CORPORATION, Upper Saddle River, NJ 1980-1985
Director - Agent Operations
Managed the role of the agent network in the transition from an adjunct of company operated offices to its current position of prime customer interface.
One of a group of five who designed, developed and installed the computerization of the Money Transfer
System resulting in significant cost savings and reversal of negative revenue growth in the flagship service. The computer programs developed continue to this date.
Reviewed and rewrote Field and Agency Procedure manuals bringing all procedures up-to-date. Revised
program resulted in the direct reduction of 11 employees (80%) in the Customer Service section.
Revised the commission rate structure for agents to a percentage base system eliminating costly and
confusing actual cost per transaction system. This resulted in significant cost savings.
WESTERN UNION TELEGRAPH COMPANY 1970-1980
Sales Manager, New York City
Appointed to this experimental position established to determine if selling Money Transfer products to
businesses was feasible. It was and led to the expansion of this position nation-wide.
Manager, Service Support
Prime contact on behalf of the company with the Federal Communications Commission and New York State
Public Service Commissions. Wrote testimony and gave it personally in front of the Commissions.

Responsible for the direction of 65 offices and over 1,000 employees.

Grand Lodge Offices Held
Grand Masters Class Committee. I was responsible for writing the various instructions that were used at all 15 sites in New York State on the Grand Masters Class day of March 29, 2003. Responsible for all Data Collection and Input at Grand Lodge for this project. Responsible for the accuracy of all paperwork submitted to Grand Lodge by all Sites State-wide for over 2,000 newly raised brothers. Received an Award of Appreciation from the Grand Master for this effort.
Appointed Grand Representative from the Grand Lodge of the Principality of Andorra near the Grand Lodge of New York September, 2003. Continue to date.
Appointed to the Grand Lodge Community Services Committee, December, 2003.This committee is responsible for the approval of DeWitt Clinton and other Awards statewide. Appointed Vice Chairman July, 2005. Rewrote all procedures for the Committee and established a new awards system, 2007.
Appointed to the Grand Lodge Finance Committee, July 2004. Continue to date.
Chairman of the subcommittee to perform special audits of the accounts of the Trustees of
the Masonic Hall and Asylum Fund.

As Master, arranged for the sale of the Great Kills Temple, rewrote the Lodge bylaws (twice) and
arranged for the proper investing of funds received through the sale of the building (over
$1,000,000).
President Richmond Masonic Association 1994-1995
Codified the responsibilities of the officers as they move though the chairs. Established time-
lines for the various functions so that there would be no problem in the accomplishment of the
tasks. Developed the RMA Directory format that is currently used.

Treasurer 1997 to 2000
(As treasurer reallocated the investment portfolio more heavily into preferred stocks rather
than simple savings accounts as was the case before, doubling the annual income). Brought the
Federal Income Tax returns into conformance without incurrant a tax penalty. This three year effort saved over $50,000 in potential fines and could have cost the tax exempt status.

As Treasurer and Trustee arranged for the sale of superfluous Real Estate around the state
that was left to the Temple by departed brethren. Used the proceeds to completely remodel
the building - the first time in 50 years - and to pave the parking lot. Among the property sold
was a ¼ acre vacant plot that was sold for $90,000. Renegotiated contracts with the two Cell
phone carriers who had antennas on Lodge property for a net increase of over $20,000 in
rental income per year. Brought the Lodge into conformance with IRS regulations
